Welcome to SoftSprint. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website and the access to, purchase, and use of our PrestaShop modules, plugins, and related services.

Our products may be offered directly or through third-party platforms, including PrestaShop Addons and Paddle. By accessing this website, purchasing our products, or using our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • Website – the website located at https://softsprint.net
  • Company / We / Us – SoftSprint
  • Customer / You – any person or entity purchasing, downloading, installing, accessing, or using our products
  • Product – downloadable software products, including PrestaShop modules, plugins, extensions, and related digital files, documentation, and updates
  • License – the limited right granted to the Customer to use the Product in accordance with these Terms and any applicable product-specific license conditions
  • Third-Party Platform – any external marketplace, reseller, payment processor, or merchant of record through which our products may be listed, sold, licensed, or delivered, including PrestaShop Addons and Paddle

2. Nature of Products

All products sold or promoted on this website are digital downloadable software.

After a valid purchase, customers receive access to the files, license entitlement, and documentation required to install and use the module in a compatible PrestaShop environment, subject to the delivery method and policies of the relevant sales channel.

No physical items are shipped.

3. Sales Channels and Third-Party Platforms

Our products may be purchased through our Website or through Third-Party Platforms, including but not limited to PrestaShop Addons and Paddle.

Where a purchase is completed through a Third-Party Platform:

  • the checkout, billing, invoicing, tax handling, and payment processing may be managed by that Third-Party Platform;
  • the relevant Third-Party Platform’s terms, policies, billing rules, privacy practices, refund procedures, and license handling may also apply;
  • in the event of any conflict regarding payment processing, invoicing, taxes, or marketplace procedures, the applicable Third-Party Platform rules shall govern those matters.

SoftSprint is responsible for the software product itself to the extent stated in these Terms, but is not responsible for independent acts, omissions, outages, policy changes, account decisions, or technical limitations of Third-Party Platforms.

4. License Grant

Upon purchase, SoftSprint grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the purchased Product.

Unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page or by the applicable sales channel:

  • one license allows use on one production store;
  • reasonable use on development, staging, or testing installations associated with that store is allowed;
  • the license cannot be shared, resold, sublicensed, or redistributed.

You may not:

  • redistribute or resell the software;
  • sublicense, rent, lease, assign, or transfer the software except where expressly permitted in writing;
  • include the software in commercial bundles, SaaS offers, hosted solutions, or resale packages without our prior written consent;
  • sell, publish, or distribute modified versions of the module as your own product;
  • remove copyright notices, branding, or license-related identifiers where included;
  • use the Product in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

5. Intellectual Property

All products, source code, object code, documentation, branding, visuals, and related materials remain the intellectual property of SoftSprint and/or its licensors.

Purchasing a product grants you a license to use the software, not ownership of the software or any intellectual property rights in it.

6. Updates

Customers may receive updates according to the product description, the licensing model, and the policies of the relevant sales channel.

Updates may include:

  • bug fixes;
  • compatibility updates;
  • security updates;
  • minor feature improvements.

Major feature updates, new premium functionality, or extended-version releases may require an additional purchase, license renewal, subscription, or upgrade fee.

We do not guarantee that every Product will remain compatible with all future versions of PrestaShop, third-party modules, themes, hosting environments, APIs, or external services.

7. Support

Technical support is provided according to the support terms stated on the relevant product page or applicable sales channel.

Support typically includes:

  • installation assistance;
  • bug investigation and bug fixes;
  • reasonable compatibility guidance related to the supported scope of the Product.

Support does not include:

  • custom development or feature implementation;
  • third-party module or theme conflicts outside the stated supported scope;
  • server administration or infrastructure configuration;
  • store customization, design work, or bespoke integration services;
  • support for obsolete software versions or unsupported environments.

We reserve the right to define the reasonable scope of support and to refuse abusive, excessive, or technically unsupported requests.

8. Refund Policy

Because our products are digital downloadable software, refunds are generally not provided once the product has been delivered, downloaded, activated, or otherwise made available, except where required by applicable law or expressly provided by the relevant sales channel.

Refunds may be considered only if:

  • the product is proven to be materially defective;
  • the issue cannot be resolved by our support team within a reasonable time;
  • the module cannot function substantially as described in the official product description, under a supported environment.

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase, unless a different period is required by the applicable Third-Party Platform or mandatory consumer law.

If the purchase was made through PrestaShop Addons, Paddle, or another Third-Party Platform, the refund request may need to be submitted and processed through that platform in accordance with its own rules and procedures.

9. Compatibility and Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for verifying that:

  • the module is compatible with their PrestaShop version;
  • their server environment, PHP version, database version, and installed extensions meet the stated requirements;
  • their theme, custom overrides, and third-party modules do not create conflicts outside the supported scope.

SoftSprint is not responsible for incompatibilities or failures caused by:

  • modified or heavily customized PrestaShop installations;
  • third-party modules, overrides, or custom code;
  • custom themes or non-standard template implementations;
  • server misconfiguration, insufficient hosting resources, or unsupported software versions;
  • changes introduced by third-party services or APIs.

The Customer is responsible for maintaining backups before installation, update, migration, or configuration changes.

10. Third-Party Services and Integrations

Our modules may integrate with third-party services, including APIs, payment providers, external SaaS tools, marketplaces, analytics tools, cloud services, and communication platforms.

SoftSprint is not responsible for:

  • changes in third-party APIs, interfaces, or authentication methods;
  • service interruptions, outages, suspensions, or discontinuation of third-party services;
  • pricing changes, account limitations, or policy changes by third-party providers;
  • loss of functionality caused by third-party decisions or changes beyond our control.

Continued functionality of integrations may depend on maintaining valid third-party accounts, subscriptions, credentials, and compliant technical environments.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SoftSprint shall not be liable for:

  • loss of profits, revenue, sales, business, or goodwill;
  • business interruption or operational downtime;
  • loss, corruption, or recovery of data;
  • security incidents not caused directly by our proven breach of duty;
  • indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Product shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

12. Account Termination and Abuse Prevention

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to our products, support, updates, or Website resources if a user:

  • violates these Terms;
  • distributes the software illegally or infringes intellectual property rights;
  • abuses support services or engages in threatening, fraudulent, or manipulative conduct;
  • attempts fraud, payment abuse, unauthorized chargebacks, or other bad-faith actions;
  • uses the Product in a way that may harm our systems, reputation, customers, or partners.

Such measures are without prejudice to any other legal remedies available to us.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised date.

Continued use of our Website or Products after such update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction of the Company or, where relevant to the transaction, the laws applicable through the Third-Party Platform or merchant of record through which the purchase was made, to the extent required for payment, billing, taxation, or consumer-protection matters.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer law.
